We met during our final year of university, even though we’d somehow been in the same circles for years without ever crossing paths. Before we became a couple, we were good friends. Petra was known to “borrow” Levi’s notes, and Levi got his revenge by consistently beating her at pool at the uni bar (or so he claims).

After we both graduated, friendship turned into something more, and we began dating. Since then, life has been full of adventures. We’ve travelled far and wide and have built a life filled with laughter, love and a wonderful mix of old and new friendships.

Levi proposed three years ago in the most unexpected and adorable way; at home, at 6am, just before a flight to Sydney. Bleary-eyed and half-packed, Petra said yes!

We’ve since bought our first home and Levi has even grown to tolerate (secretly love) Petra’s cats. Despite being allergic and reassured early on that they were “very old” and wouldn’t be around much longer, they’re now 19 and still running the house.

We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we do know this: we love each other more and more every day and we can’t wait to see what’s around the corner together.
